How to Install IPTV on a Samsung Smart TV (2026 Guide)

You can watch IPTV on any Samsung Smart TV running Tizen (2017 and newer) without buying a streaming stick. This guide shows the three methods that work in 2026, which app to pick, and how to add your StreamFlex login in about five minutes.

Before you start

Check three things first and the rest of the setup is quick:

• Your TV model. Any Samsung Smart TV from 2017 onwards runs Tizen and has the Samsung Apps store. On older models (2015–2016) some apps are missing; a Firestick or Android box is the easier route.
• Your internet speed. Around 10 Mbps is enough for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K. Use Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi if the TV is far from the router.
• Your StreamFlex login. After you order (or request the free trial) we send you an Xtream Codes login (server URL, username, password) and an M3U link on WhatsApp. You will paste one of these into the app.

Best IPTV apps for Samsung Smart TV

Samsung does not ship an IPTV player of its own, so you install one from the Samsung Apps store. These are the ones that work reliably with StreamFlex:

If you are unsure, start with IPTV Smarters Pro. It accepts the Xtream login directly, so you never need a computer.

Method 1: IPTV Smarters Pro (recommended)

1. Open the Samsung Apps store

   Press Home on the remote, go to Apps and select the search icon.

2. Install IPTV Smarters Pro

   Search for “IPTV Smarters”, open the result and choose Install. If it is not listed in your region, use Method 2 or 3.

3. Choose “Login with Xtream Codes API”

   Open the app, accept the terms and pick the Xtream option on the login screen.

4. Enter your StreamFlex details

   Type any profile name (for example “StreamFlex”), then the username, password and server URL exactly as we sent them on WhatsApp, including http:// and the port.

5. Load channels and start watching

   The app downloads Live TV, Movies and Series. The first load can take 30–60 seconds; after that, open Live TV and choose a category.

Method 2: SS IPTV with an M3U link

1. Install SS IPTV

   Find “SS IPTV” in the Samsung Apps store and install it.

2. Open Settings → Content → External playlists

   Select Add and give the playlist a name.

3. Paste the M3U link

   Enter the StreamFlex M3U URL from WhatsApp. Typing a long link with the remote is slow, so you can also use the SS IPTV website: open it on your phone, enter the connection code shown in the app and paste the link there.

4. Save and refresh

   Go back to the main screen; your playlist appears as a tile. Open it to see the channel groups.

Method 3: MAC-based apps (Smart IPTV, Set IPTV and similar)

Some Samsung players do not let you type a login on the TV. Instead they show a MAC address (and sometimes a device key). You then go to the app’s website on your phone or computer, enter that MAC and paste your M3U link. Restart the app and the channels load. These players usually charge a small one-time activation fee to the app developer — this is separate from your StreamFlex subscription.
